This wine is crafted from Carménère vines which have a unique ability to transmit their origin at the purest level because they are ungrafted. De Martino carefully tend these ungrafted vines using sustainable farming methods and strive to produce wines with the maximum expression of their special Maipo terrior. With its mild Mediterranean climate and gravel rich soils, Chile’s flagship grape reveals its true potential in this Isla de Maipo vineyard. Signature Carménère aromas of bramble fruits and green bell pepper are joined by violets and spice, coating the mouth and lingering long into the finish.
