The coastal vineyards of the Itata Valley, located in the southern part of Chile, are thought to be the cradle of the country’s viticultural beginnings with vines dating back to 1551. The Cinsault grapes that make this wine are from the 35-year-old Guarilihue vineyard, just 22km from the Pacific Ocean. These vines are ungrafted and farmed using sustainable agriculture, including dry farming (which means no irrigation is used) and ploughing with horses. Nicolás Peréz and Marco Antonio de Martino believe that these vines offer a true expression of this unique place.

  • From the stunning vineyards of Itata in Chile, that are kept cool by Pacific breezes.
  • Super juicy and very easy drinking! Delightful ripe red fruits mingle with hints of violet and stony salinity.
  • The palate is easy going with medium weight, sweet fruit, and moderate acidity which freshens up the finish to perfection.
  • De Martino is certified by the Wines of Chile Sustainability Code, ensuring they’re always working sustainably in 3 key areas: the vineyard, the winery, and the social sector.
