Made from an exceptionally concentrated plot ofSyrah , the Ursus red is a great wine for ageing with notes of candied black fruit. The deep garnet red colour is impressive. The nose is very aromatic with powerful notes of black cherry and blackberry, enhanced by pretty spicy notes. The wine expands nicely on the palate, the tannins are well integrated with a structured body, a beautiful intensity, while maintaining an appreciable freshness. With a long aromatic persistence, this is a voluptuous wine with a certain ageing potential!
