STORY BEHIND THE WINE

Since its first harvest 1975, Val di Suga has expanded to 55 hectares of vineyards in all the major growing areas of Montalcino. Consisting of three distinctive vineyards on three different slopes – Vina del Lago (clay), Granchio (galestro) and Vigna Spuntali (sandy) – winemaker Andrea Lonardi is able to cherry-pick the very best fruit available from the unique characteristics of each terrior in crafting a wonderfully balanced and great-value Brunello.
