Deep crimson red, offering intense hints of cedar and nutmeg, chocolate, coffee and fruit liqueur. The palate is full, strong and fills the mouth. Ripe fruits with strong, velvety tannins. Long lasting and persistent finish.

Food Pairing: Meat, lamb, stews, game, duck, smoked fish, semi sweet desserts and chocolate. Pairs well with lunches and strong flavoured dinners. A wine to be enjoyed slowly.

Cellaring: 2023 – 2033

STORY BEHIND THE WINE

Grapes from a 70 year-old single vineyard. The grapes are selected and harvested by hand, then macerated and fermented at a controlled, cool temperature. Long subsequent maceration to extract tannins and colour. The wine is oak aged for 26 months in new Allier and Vosgos French oak barrels. Blend of Tempranillo 95%, Garnacha, Graciano 5%.
