We started a programme with winemaker Steve Grimley in the Barossa Valley many vintages ago now, where we contract grapes from some of the region’s best growers pre-harvest, to secure not only very high-quality fruit but to lock in an honest but favourable price. This project has been truly successful and this bright, engaging, bold and youthful expression of Barossa Valley Shiraz is the latest release.

The brightness of fruit when we tasted post vintage was captivating, so we bottled it as a single small batch vat, and it’s a belter.

A full-bodied Shiraz that is supple, full of black and red fruit, framed by fine tannins and lick of our signature winemaking freshness.

It’ll pair beautifully with chargrilled lamb, smoky barbecue ribs or roasted portobello mushrooms.
