Ventisquero Grey Glacier Merlot from Colchagua Valley in Chile has an intense fruity nose of strawberries and plums and the palate is full and fruity with creamy vanilla oak overtones.

The grapes were hand-harvested and underwent a low-temperature maceration to bring out the maximum colour and aromas. Then the must was fermented in stainless steel tanks followed by aging for 18 months in ultra-fine grain French oak barrels, 33% of them first use. Then the wine was bottle-aged for 8 months.Ventisquero Grey Glacier Merlot Colchagua Valley is very intense and the oaky overtones and notes of chocolate from the barrel-ageing enhance the final complexity of the wine. It is a full-bodied, boldly-structured wine, which fills the mouth thanks to its fine tannins. Smooth and persistent in the finish.
