Veuve Clicquot’s La Grande Dame Rosé 2015 Champagne is only produced in very limited amounts from 8 crus selected from Madame’s own vineyards.

The blend comprises of Pinot Noir (90%), Chardonnay (10%) the 2015 Rosé vintage of La Grande Dame has a nose that is fruitful and intense with notes of berries and toasted hazelnuts. An equally powerful palate with a long mineral finish and a silky texture, with subtle tannins coming from the pinot noir.

Madame Clicquot was an audacious woman. When her husband died in 1805, she took over the reins of the business at 27 years old, with one tireless vision â€?“Only one quality, the finestâ€? La Grande Dame, is a showcase of the House’s excellence. It perfectly expresses its love for Pinot Noir, which since the 2008 vintage, has represented over 90% of the blend.

It is a tribute to Madame Clicquot and to the creative and elegant souls who have followed in her footsteps. La Grande Dame 2015 is an exclusive blend of our eight classic Grands Crus: Aÿ, Bouzy, Ambonnay, Verzy and Verzenay for the Pinot Noir (90%); Avize, Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger for the Chardonnay (10%). On the nose: Saline and mineral aromas, with notes of red fruits and toasted aromas. On the palate: Substantial,crisp and silky, perfect for cuisine pairing.
