Viña Gravonia is a monovarietal made with the Viura grape. The grapes come from 50-year-old vines owned by Viña Zaconia, a domaine of the cellar, located along the Ebro River. The vines are planted at 200 metres above sea level on poor soils. The wine is aged for 48 months in oak barrels previously used for several wines so as to not leave to strong a mark. The nose reveals clear notes of white fruit. We very quickly find a slightly vanilla profile with aromas of wax. The development in the glass becomes more complex. On the palate, it is the strength of the flesh that impresses us with its well-though-out material and fine tannic finish (for a white) with elegant bitter aromas!
