This Verdicchio presents a bright straw-yellow color highlighted by subtle greenish reflections. On the nose, it is notably complex, offering an elegant bouquet of fresh fruit and floral layers interwoven with classic notes of anise, toasted almond, and bright citrus. The palate is crisp, dry, and distinctly savoury, characterised by a refreshing acidity and a deep, persistent minerality that lingers through the finish.

STORY BEHIND THE LABEL

“Versiano” is a refined cuvée of premium grapes sourced from two distinct single vineyards, both north-facing at elevations of 350 to 400 meters. By selecting fruit from two separate municipalities within the Classica dei Castelli di Jesi zone, Vignamato captures and blends the unique terroir characteristics of each site. The wine is aged for seven to eight months in a combination of stainless steel and glass-lined concrete tanks, followed by an additional three to four months of bottle aging to ensure a polished and harmonious finish.
