This wine is made from 40-year old Chenins rooted in saliceous-clay soils. Based on the philosophy of the domaine, this smooth wine with 70 grammes of residual sugar is aged in barrels with just 5% new wood. This wine is still an infant. We nevertheless find a lot of charm in its youth with divine saffron and exotic notes. The palate is remarkably deep with a very diffused body with flavours of dried apricots and candied quince. A lingering persistence with subtle spicy and mineral notes. To keep in the cellar preferably for at least 2 or 3 decades.
