STORY BEHIND THE WINE

The Pfeffingen winery is located in Ungstein, just outside Bad Dürkheim in the Pfalz region. Two generations work here, Jan Eymael and his mother Doris run this top-class winery. “Terra Rossa” named after the soil particular to this part of the Pfalz. The chalky soils of Pfeffingen are optimal for this king of white grapes. Pfalz has long considered one of the main regions for quality German Riesling
