Structured, with a sweet and smooth nose, fully showcasing the characteristic dryness of its distillery, its intense palate gradually dries out in a skilful interplay of oak and malt, heralding a long and warm finish that reveals its remarkable subtlety when diluted with a dash of water. On the nose, mellowness, a sweet freshness and a subtle hint of honey precede orange zest. It opens with a spicy and balanced acidity, followed by a note of ripe red apple. It develops a clean and dry character, marked by a box of dried aromatic herbs. On the palate, it has a silky texture. Sweet and intense, it develops notes of cocoa and liquorice, followed by savoury notes of porcini mushrooms and a hint of salt.
