A peated Scottish single malt whisky at 108.2 PPM, distilled in 2018 and aged for 5 years, it was first rested in second-fill wine and bourbon casks before being transferred to first-fillcognaccasks for a rich and original finish. It reveals an intense bouquet combining lime zest, lemon tart, toasted oak and blond tobacco. The attack is smooth and creamy, marked by notes of vanilla, caramel, dried fruit, black pepper and peaty smoke. The finish is long, salty and slightly woody, with a maritime persistence characteristic of Islay whiskies.
