Saburomaru Gyokuto Edition 2022 whisky, with an alcohol content of 46%, is a work of art straight from Japan. The result of an expert blend of malt from the Saburomaru distillery and Scottish grain whiskies, it is a Japanese whisky of remarkable quality. This extremely limited edition, with only 9,000 bottles sold worldwide, owes its uniqueness to the combination of selected malt from the distillery and imported Scottish grain whisky, with an average age of 10 years. Aged in a judicious combination of bourbon, sherry and rare Mizunara casks, this precious beverage opens with power and refinement from the very first whiff. It releases smoky notes reminiscent of Scotland and the Isle of Islay on the nose. The aroma is opulent, blending scents of plum, hazelnut and leather. On the palate, a range of flavours reveals hints ofred wineand baked apple. This special edition Gyokuto 2022 has not been coloured or chill-filtered, preserving the authenticity and complexity of the original flavours.
