In league with some of the most confronting attacks of any we can recall, Whisky Craft have captured a gargantuan coastal malt with a tsunami of phenols in the form of lanolin, sheep-skin jackets and iodine, awash with bourbon oak, baked citrus, oily peat and a vanilla undercurrent. Even with water, the mouthfeel remains vibrant and tenacious, though more ashy, peppery, then seductive and long. Hang on to your hats, it’s brute force from this distillery at its elemental best!
