This is a superb whisky for both enthusiasts and novices alike. It’s made by the most well known Japanese producer of whisky, and they certainly hit the nail on the head with this one. It’s a bright and vibrant blend of both malt and grain whiskies, with a medium body and a superb palate.

I love this whisky because it’s absolutely packed full of flavours and aromas. It’s got a real depth of vanilla and toffee with a light touch of smoke, as well as notes of white chocolate and a little citrus. I also pick up a hint of sake which is very fitting! This is a delicious whisky to either sip on or mix into a cocktail – it;s got enough oomph to pack a punch, and the flavours are so vibrant that they’ll shine through in any cocktail.
