This Coastal Region Cape exclusive is made from a selection of barrels and, like all the best blends, captures the best of each component and, in this bottling, expresses the dark heart of this sumptuous region. There’s a lovely dark berry fruit intensity to the nose that is given a little fresh blackcurrant lift. These characters follow onto the palate with increased focus on the ripe dark fruit, which is layered with spice and exceptionally ripe plum before a long and muscular finish.
