This mixed case includes some of the finest and varied flavours from Spain to create memorable moments this season. Arriba! Abajo! Al Centro!

Each case contains one bottle of each of the following:

Valenciso, Rioja Blanco 2023

Complex aromas combining floral characters with preserved lemon and gently smoky notes. The palate is intense and broad with nuts, stone fruit, minerality and balancing citrus acidity on the finish. Will continue to develop in the bottle.

Bodegas Pittacum, Mencia Tinto 2019

This is Mencia, Bierzo’s native grape, treated to a sojourn in barrel to great effect. The rich, velvety texture and dense, darker cherry fruit offer a far more opulent take on the grape while its naturally high acidity keeps its feet on the ground. One for a rich, rib-sticking supper on a cold night. The abundant alcohol is well disguised.

La Vina del Bululu, Garnacha 2022

Bright, high-elevation Garnacha with juicy raspberry & strawberry fruit, a clean mineral edge and lively acidity. Unoaked purity with subtle rustic charm, perfect with grilled meats, tapas or light cheeses.

Pazo Pondal, Leira Albarino 2024

Complex aromas of flowers, citrus and white pear with notes of cut grass and menthol. Moreish with a delicious salinity on the finish.

Leza Garcia, Rioja Reserva 2020

Savoury notes, black fruits, blackcurrant leaf and cherries define the nose and the palate of this Reserva. It is rounded and soft, with plenty of freshness – a signature of Leza Garcia’s wines. Well-integrated oak doesn’t stand in the way of shiny, bright fruit. Its long, warm finish with spice and a hint of earthiness give us a lovely autumny, wintery feel. A gastronomic wine.
