Celebrate International Women’s Day with an inspiring evening dedicated to the women shaping the world of wine today.

Join us at the Picturedrome for a relaxed and sociable tasting that highlights a diverse line-up of wines made by pioneering, passionate and influential female winemakers. From Rioja to Vinho Verde, Clare Valley to Burgenland, this is a chance to taste widely and hear the stories behind the bottles.

• A guided tasting of five wines made by leading women in wine
• A mix of styles including red, white, pink and orange wines
• Insight into the winemakers, regions and philosophies behind each wine
• A friendly, informal setting with plenty of opportunity for discussion

Whether you’re deeply into wine or just curious to explore something new, this tasting is about discovery, conversation and celebrating the women behind the labels.

Wines featured on the night include:

• Glorioso Crianza – made under the direction of Almudena Alberca MW, the first Spanish woman to achieve Master of Wine status and former Technical Director at Entrecanales Domecq
• Jeanneret Big Fine Girl – from Sarah Mould, winemaker at Jeanneret Wines in Australia’s Clare Valley
• Judith Beck Pink – crafted by Judith Beck, owner and biodynamic winemaker in Burgenland, Austria
• Solara Orange – from Nora Iriarte, part of the winemaking team at Romania’s Cramele Recaș
• Soalheiro Alvarinho – from Maria Palmira Cerdeira, co-founder of Soalheiro, a pioneering Alvarinho producer in Vinho Verde
